Jim Poole is a Wake County native who began working for a major insurer in New York before returning home to become an insurance broker in Raleigh. Jim succeeded in concentrating on lines of insurance which were quite unusual at the time. In addition, he has a passion for learning which led to his stint chairing the Education Committee for his state association and serving as President of the Institute of Insurance at UNC–Chapel Hill.
Reviewing indemnification and insurance requirements in our client’s contractual agreements and negotiating more appropriate and insurable conditions are some of the most challenging but satisfying aspects of the usual day at the office.
